Dr. Matt Bennett
Veterinarian
Dr. Matt Bennett is a native of upstate South Carolina. He attended Clemson University, majoring in pre-veterinary studies for his undergraduate degree, and completed his veterinary degree at the University of Georgia in 2014.
Upon graduation, he served the upstate SC area working in Pickens and Seneca with small animals. While living in Easley, he fell in love with the Powdersville area and opened Craven Creek Veterinary Clinic. His special interests are preventative medicine and internal medicine cases.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenna, their two dogs, Renly and Badger, and cat, Merlin. He also loves reading, exercising, and playing video games in his spare time.
Dr. Shaylin Duncan Gignilliat
Veterinarian
Dr. Shaylin Duncan Gignilliat (“JIN-i-LAT”) is a 4th generation native of Greenville. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at Winthrop University and attended the University of Georgia for veterinary school, graduating in 2013.
Upon graduation, Dr. G moved to Augusta, GA where she worked in a small animal ER. She and her husband moved back to Greenville in 2014, where she worked in general practice for 4 years. Dr. G returned to emergency medicine briefly before her son was born in 2020. She then resumed general practice as a traveling vet, getting to assist several different veterinary hospitals in the upstate.
In 2022, after working with Dr. Bennett and his team on several occasions, Dr. G decided to make her home at Craven Creek. The quality of medicine and culture made Craven Creek stand out among others in the area, and Dr. Gignilliat was excited to take the opportunity when it arose.
In her free time, Dr. Gignilliat enjoys reading, hiking, riding her bike, and exploring the area with her family. Her home is lively with one toddler, two large dogs, and one wild tabby cat. Dr. Gignilliat is also actively involved with the Greater Greenville Veterinary Medical Association. She served as Co-President for several years and currently serves as Treasurer. Her professional interests are primarily in acute care and soft tissue surgery, but she also enjoys the bonds she gets to make with people and their pets.
Dr. Danielle Mills
Veterinarian
Dr Mills grew up in Rochester New York and received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Binghamton University. She continued her education at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in 2022. She and her husband, Tanner, decided to move south after graduation.
Dr. Mills has a special interest in preventive and urgent care, surgery, and dermatology. She enjoys following pets through all stages of life.
Outside of work Dr. Mills loves hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She has a pitbull named Evie and a rabbit named Junior.
